Q: WHAT DOES DOWNGRADE MEAN?
A: Downgrading is the process by which the firmware on a PSP is modified to take hand on all the advantages an unbricked PSP can offer.
Q: WHAT IS A FIRMWARE?
A: Firmware refers to the software version on the PSP that can be either Official Firmware or Custom Firmware. Official firmware is that one produced by Sony Corporation. Custom Firmware is the one produced Homebrew (unofficial software developers). Custom Firmware is installed through the downgrading process.
Q: WHY SHOULD I UNBRICK MY PSP?
A: Homebrew PSP's allow customers a whole new scheme of advantages that include music share, printing pictures, watching streaming videos, and watching videos on your PSP on formats not originally supported. Other advantages include saving games from UMD into Memory Sticks and being able to play games originally from PS1. Downgrading also allows the possibility to play games from other consoles such as Nintendo and Sega. Unbricking the PSP allows the owner to take full advantage of the PSP.

A: Yes, the procedure described in our tutorial on PSP downgrading does work on either version.
Q: I HAVE WINDOWS VISTA ON MY COMPUTER, DOES IT MATTER?
A: Although some say they have unbricked their PSP on Vista the truth is this will only work on Windows XP (or lower versions) because you need the command prompt to run the installation. Vista just doesn't work. We highly recommend not doing this on Vista or will probably just screw your PSP. However you are still free try so.
Q: WHEN DOWNLOADING THE FILES FROM THE RAPIDSHARE URL GIVEN AN ERROR OCCURS.
A: You probably have a slow internet connection or are already downloading something else. If this persists you may need to buy a premium account from Rapidshare to be able to download the files.
Q: WHEN DOWNLOADED, I AM NOT ABLE TO OPEN THE PANDORA FILES.
A: Be sure you have a ZIP or RAR application. If not download it for free from the URL given on the tutorial.
Q: WHILE FOLLOWING THE TUTORIAL ON MAGIC MEMORY STICKS AND CFW MY PANDORA BATTERY DIDN'T SEEM TO WORK.
A: Check that the battery is charged or charge it otherwise. Make sure you took out the Memory Stick and placed it back again while it was off. Make sure the charger is not connected while using the Pandora Battery. If the PSP did not turn on automatically reboot it holding the R trigger while turning it on. Be sure you bought your Pandora Battery at our website.
